This is the BEST drinking card game you'll ever play!!
Below are the ACTUAL faces of each card with the LATEST VERSION of the rules for THINK OR DRINK! Adjust the rules for your playing level! Remember, the object is to have have fun!
THUMBMASTER If you draw this card, you are the thumbmaster! Every time you put your thumb on the table, every player must put their thumb on the table. The last player to put their thumb on the table drinks. The thumbmaster can do this at any time, until another thumbmaster card is drawn, at which time, that player becomes the thumbmaster.
BEERSLUT If
you draw this card you are the BEERSLUT!
You must get a beer for any player who asks, and remove empties
from the table. You must do this
until another BEERSLUT
card is drawn, at which time that player becomes the BEERSLUT.
Alliteration If you draw this card, choose a letter of the alphabet and say a word beginning with that letter. The player to the right says another word beginning with the same letter and so on, around the table. The object is to make a coherent sentence, of words beginning with that letter only.
Example: The first word is This, the next player could say This theory, the ending sentence could be, This theory that Todd thought through thoroughly takes time to topple. Any player that cannot think of a word, or their word does not make sense, drinks, ending play of this card.
COLORS If you draw this card say a color. (Ex: "Red") The player to your right says your color and adds another color. (Ex: "Red, Blue") And so on, each player saying all previous colors and adding another color, until somebody screws up and drinks, ending play of this card.
GIVE ONE The player drawing this card chooses any player, that player must drink once. Or,
GIVE TWO The player drawing this card chooses any player, that player must drink twice. Or, two players may be chosen to drink once each.
QUESTIONS New Rules!: The player drawing this card is the questionmaster! The questionmaster can ask any player a question, at any time, until another questions card is drawn. That player must in turn ask any other player another question, and so on. There are a few simple rules: 1) Do not answer! (any response must be in the form of a question.) 2) You cannot ask back. (This means you cannot ask a question to the player who asked you a question.) 3) You cannot repeat a question that has already been asked. The first person to screw it up, drinks, ending play of this card.
To the Left The player to the left must drink.
To the Right The player to the right must drink.
TOPIC The player drawing this card chooses a topic. Then each player takes a turn (to the right) saying a word that relates to the chosen topic. For example; if the topic is Cigarette Brands, related words might be: Marlboro, Camel, Pall Mall, etc. Any player who says a word not related to the topic, or cannot think of a word, drinks, ending play of this card. (a.k.a. Categories)
Social Everybody yell sociable! Then drink.
DITTO If you draw this card, hand it to the player on your right and say, This is a DITTO. That player does not take the card, but asks you a what? You repeat, a DITTO. That player says Oh and then takes the card. Then they hand it to the player on their right and say, This is a DITTO. The third player does not take the card, but asks the second player a what? The second player turns back to the first player (you) and asks again, a what? you say a DITTO... Then the second player says, a DITTO... Then the third player says Oh and then takes the card, and hands it to the next player, etc.
This cycle continues, always coming back to the first player (who drew the card) to answer the Question a what? If and when the card comes all the way around the circle you must continue the cycle and remember how many times the card laps and when to say a what? or a DITTO. Anyone who screws it up drinks, ending play of this card. -this card is my personal favorite, but some people just don't get it.. guess they're drinkin' again!
TAKE ONE The player drawing this card must drink once. Or,
MAKE A TOAST If you draw this card, make a toast and everybody drinks.
BUzZ The object of BUZZ is to count as high as possible, without anyone screwing it up! The player drawing this card must choose a number between 1 and 10. This will be the BUZZ number. Say BUZZ instead of the number, any time the count reaches a number that is: A multiple of the BUZZ number, or has the BUZZ number in it. For example; if the BUZZ number is 5, you would say BUZZ instead of: 5, 10, 15, 20, 25, 30, 35, 40, 45, 50, 51, 52, 53, 54, 55, etc. The drawing player begins the count by saying One... the player to the right continues the count by saying ..Two... Count continues counter-clockwise until the BUZZ number is reached, and then continues clockwise, and is reversed each time BUZZ is said. Any player who: goes out of turn, says a BUZZ number, or says BUZZ on the wrong number drinks, ending play of this card. If you actually get to 100, everybody drinks! ADVANCED PLAYERS: Add double numbers as BUZZ #'s (11, 22, 33, 44, 55, etc.)
